Mission Statement
Reach Out in Benicia is a community effort to eliminate alcohol, and drug abuse among our youth and young adults. To be accomplished by education, counseling, training, employment preparedness, and job referrals.
What is Reach Out
Reach Out in Benicia is in its 15th year of operation and has worked with over 5,000 of Benicia's youth and young adults. Earl Miller CAADAC II holds group meetings once a week, and sees an average of 20 to 30 young people each week. Reach Out provides a variety of support to young people in need of help, including:
- Attending probation meetings, as well as court appearances.
- Offering financial support for tuition and books for the first year at a community college.
- Assisting with employment opportunities within our community.
- Encouraging our youth and young adults to go to Alcoholics Anonymous and/or Narcotics Anonymous on an ongoing basis.
- Referring those in need of additional attention to detoxification centers, in-patient programs and out-patient programs, when needed.
- Encouraging participation in the various outreach programs.
Weekly Meetings
Earl Miller CAADAC II, meets with any interested teen or young adult every Monday night at the Calvary Community Church from 7 pm to 8:45 pm. Calvary Community Church is located 1315 Military West in Benicia, at the corner of Military and Southampton Road. Come join us!
